Tianqin “star” shines and rosy cloud spread its wings
Open a new milestone in space exploration
The School of Physics and Astronomy of Sun Yat-sen University was established with the guiding ideology of facing the frontier of basic science and the major strategic needs of the country in 1927. Its main research directions include gravitational physics, gravitational wave astronomy, cosmology, large-scale structure of the universe and galaxy formation theory, high energy astrophysics, etc.
"Tianqin-1" satellite, the first national project and university-led technical test satellite in China to detect gravitational waves in space, was successfully launched in 2019. Its successful launch means that “Tianqin Project", a space gravitational wave detection project led by Chinese scientists, officially entered the space test stage.
It is understood that all three satellites of "Tianqin Project" will be deployed around 2035, which will gather domestic and foreign superior forces to carry out gravitational wave detection research and make greater contributions to human development.
China has made remarkable achievements in the space industry, and Shenzhou spaceship has been sent into space by Long March rockets series for many times in recent years. The astronauts of Shenzhou XIII successfully completed the extravehicular mission on November 8, 2021. These aerospace achievements are constantly showing China's strength to become a space power!
Actively respond to the policy of strengthening the country through science and technology
Uniasia helps the development of China's space industry.
The establishment of "China Aerospace Foundation-Uniasia Aerospace Scholarship" is to reward and fund students with excellent academic performance in the School of Physics and Astronomy of Sun Yat-sen University and aerospace-related majors. It is also a way for Uniasia to show high respect to teachers, students and scientific research workers who have been working hard and quietly, and it is also a positive response of Uniasia to the Chinese people's journey of rejuvenating the country through science and technology and building their dreams through space.
Meng Fei, vice president of Uniasia Group, said at the meeting that science is the driving force of social progress. China is on the way to the first phalanx of world science today. It is even more urgent to call on the vast number of scientific researchers to shoulder the mission and responsibility of serving the country scientifically and strengthening the country with science and technology under such a situation. Encourage everyone to be curious about the unknown world forever, and keep innovating on the road of scientific exploration with firm belief and sense of responsibility.
It is the original intention of Uniasia to donate money to set up a scholarship to support the country and society in cultivating innovative scientific and technological talents and promoting the vigorous development of China's space industry. We hope that the students of our motherland will become the pillars of the space industry and the space industry of our motherland will flourish. Major power in space, the Chinese strength, plays the strongest sound of cosmic exploration!
